Re: O2 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor one
Just did it myself a few months ago. No tips or tricks though. It is pretty straightforward. Unplug the old harness end, unscrew the sensor, screw in new sensor, plug in the new harness...
Once you unplug the harness end of the old sensor, cut the harness off at the sensor before you try to remove the old one. This will allow you to use a box end wrench to help prevent slipping. Use lots of PB blaster around the threads of the old sensor before removing. Routing the new harness is a little tight, but not too bad. I seem to remember having to use an extra tie wrap to keep the harness away from exhaust...
Peace!

Or if you are lucky or know a friend. One of these tools is AWESOME! I own a set that is a bit smaller but works great.

Same one, bank 1 sensor 1. Unfortunately $175 sounds about right for the price too. I seem to remember the dealer checked the old sensor with a multimeter and the reading (resistance?) went through the roof, which confirmed it was bad. Once I installed the new one and cleared the check engine light, all was good...
