Was up ya'll I have been talking to Rally Innovations about getting a rally bar made for our Baja on NASIOC but I still need as much input as i can get to convince them to produce these Rally Bars. If you haven't seen these are different designs for the bars.
I have answers to the questions that I asked Rally Innovations earlier this week
What material are these Rally Bars made of? Mild Steel

mean 1 1/2" tubing. Yes it is possible but we would rather use 1 1/4" for production.

on? We've tested 4 lights or 8 lbs. Extra reinforcements can be
customized.

$45 would be for the east coast.

option (like the truck grill-guards, or the roll bars on the Baja)? We have several shades of Dark Gray (Gun Metal) and Silvers. Theses are the most common, but please inquire. We will only run one custom color at a time, so it's important to pick a common color.
Here Is the most recent Email from Rally innovations.
"Not a problem. However, please sign up on our forum and create a new
thread under light bars and have them post there. That way we can keep
track on the interests.
Thanks"
Lets continue to give them input Subie Owners
PS: hey there are two forums for the Baja choose the one with the four option on the pole
and put in their input on the subject; if we don't give them enough input they will not produce these bars and we will be "S.O.L." and it will end up costing more to buy a universal guard and get custom brackets made which will cost about $350-$400 where Rally Innovations Rally Bar (bolt-on) will cost $269 in black+($50 for different color)+$35(West Cost)-$45(East Cost) for Shipping

I think I could make it fit! I would mount it on the front side or on top....My vote is for the Forrester style, but I had problems regisgtering for that Bulliten Board.
davecoon13 wrote:If they were to make the Forrester style one for Baja, and I got it, do you think could I mount a small electric winch onto it?
This is the answer to your question from Rally Innovations
"The answer to that question would be "no" for the production bar. The
bar can handle a push force, and maybe a minor pull force, but for what
purposes the winch is going to pull, it's highly unlikely."
Here is the most recent Email i have received from Rally Innovations.
"They can order the bar directly from us. We will be starting a group
buy next month when it is ready.
The lights tested, PIAA or Hella 500s should not rub. Others may.
The 03-04 Outback legacy share the same front end and mounting points.
I have not verified it it goes back to 02."
Here is what I asked:
How do they go about ordering the Rally bar?
Do the lights rub the bumper?
This rally bar should work on the Outback, and legacy right cause
aren't they all the same unibody frame?
