I want one I want one!!! there's a reallll nice brown one near me, I keep scoping it out, I don't think they ever drive it....Looked at a brat once, a long time ago, but a mechanic talked us out of it.
hood came from a 84 wagon
right door from a ahtchback
left door from a coupe
both fenders from same coupe
front bumper off a 82 2wd wagon.
wheels/tires off a 70/early 80's Chevy full size 4wd pickup
4 speed d/r out of a 83-84 wagon
it had a 4/3 BYB lift kit on it as well.
tires were 30x9.50x15
had a gone over ea81T with decked heads. could spin those tires on dry pavement.
those wheels are eventually gonna end on on the 82.....
How much banging did you have to do to fit those tires Mick?
My 82 3/3 has tires that measure around 28" or so... but may be a bit taller in the eyes of a tire store spec sheet. Either way they rub (with no hammering) if you only turn em afew degrees.
I am gonna BFH of course... I just need time (and a suitable hammer of course)

to fit the 30's, I had to move the back of the front wheel well about 3 inches farther back to stop the rubbing because of the backspacing/width of the chevy wheels.
I used a 4lb sledge to delicately massage the metal
then I went ahead and just cutabout 1.5" all around the wheel well, just to be safe
Well I got a 4 pound sledge. Hammered them enough that I can run over a spare tire with ease with no rubbing... I can go lock to lock in the street with no rubbing... full lock at full flex likely will still rub a bit.
I had to crank up the struts slightly.
I probably SHOULD adjust the doors, but they still close fine.
