Does anybody known the location of this part? It's not above the charcoal canister like in the WRX models.

Okay I figured out the part you're looking for: Valve Solenoid 14774AA341.
According to the schematics, it should be located exactly next and slightly above the canister.

Just had my 06 sport up on the lift today, & looked for the part. Mine wasn't there either, but the wiring harness for it was. As far as I know, mine was never modded. Maybe bajas just didn't have them? Need others to confirm.
