Questions about Baja Roof rails

Hi Folks,

I have some questions about my Baja: 2006 Sport

Anyone know how to remove the roof rails for repair?

Do the end caps easily separate from the aluminum center section?

It appears the cracking must be a common problem. Is that accurate?

I've never had cracking. After removing the rails with the T30, the outside covers can come off. I think it took a little prying, but I think that's it. I ran wires for my lights through the rails and around in the end caps. One of the hardest things I've done was getting those wires through and out. LOL
