I just bought a 06 baja turbo 5 speed and I was wondering what I could do to lower the truck. Idk if I really want to go with coil overs cause I don't want the ride to be super stiff so I'm thinking about just shocks and springs. Would I be able to use wrx or sti shocks and springs?? And if so what else would I need to install?? Also wondering about the downpipe from the turbo. I used to be into vw's and had a jetta with a 3 inch turbo back and it was simple...with this car and having the up pipe idk anytbing about this set up....like if I do a 3 inch down pipe do I have to up grade the up pipe also? And I've herd of married and divorced exhausts?? What's the difference?? Any info on any of this is appericated...my main goal with this truck is to drop it down an inch or 2 nice set of wide18's with a little poke handle like it's on rails and have a little more pep then what it already has with what it has...

Re: New to the baja world
One option for lowering is to get Legacy GT shocks (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HS0H8P0). See photos comparing the Baja/Outback shocks to the Legacy GT shocks. Sorry, can't help with the exhaust.
