I also bought the entire rubber/weather strip that runs along the top of both doors, That includes the middle section.

Seen here as item 2.

How much where these? Looks like the previous owner of my car might have locked the keys in the car...they tore up the weather stripping trying to unlock it...

Weatherstrip replacing is rated T for Tedious and S for Sore thumbs LOL !

Fixed the door close rattle,Made the sound more of a muted thump. And I do not hear the glass rattle anymore when I close it so I will not have to adjust the latch catch inside the door jamb.

Start from the top of the middle portion,Work that down the middle, then do each of its sides, Then do each other door last. Then push in all your pins.

First side took half hour, Other side took 15 minutes.

I have the cargo net too, I don't use it too often but I keep it rolled up behind the rear seats and it is nice to have around and very useful.

Good luck with the all weather floor mats.... mine cracked within a year.

I did notice you got your floor mats for $10 cheaper than I did back in the day, so that's pretty cool. I really hope yours last longer. I felt kinda ripped off when mine started ripping.

Were the old pieces of weatherstripping torn, or just really compressed? I had not thought about mine because they visually look okay but it would probably quiet it down a bit. Almost 120k on the clock it doesn't sound as solid as it once did.

My symptoms :

Harsh close sound, Glass rattled in the door.
Top corner of the glass was actually catching some when I would open the door.
The middle portion of has two "ears" that fold in when the glass touches it at close,Mine were torn.

I also have 234,4xx miles on it.

The door is now slightly firmer at close,The sound became muted and a nice thump. The window no longer catches when I open it.

And!

The middle section that turns ashy grey looks so spectacular when it's new, It's really really nice.
