Cabin Air Filter

Post by bajaman »

I have a 06 Baja Turbo, and was looking at getting a cabin air filter on Ebay. But, it says that a cabin air filter was a dealer option, and not all Baja's have them.

I would hate to go through the tough disassembly only to find out there is not an air filter mount/ assembly in the cabin?

Go for it. You will be happy. To my surprise my '03 did not have one when I went to change it, just an empty bay with a bunch of leaves and dead bugs inside. All Bajas are set up to accept a filter, its just that some dealers did not install the actual filter element into the housing...

Peace! [smilie=666.gif]

Yeah, go ahead and get them. If you don't already have one in there you will just have to clean all of the stuff out of there and slide the filters into the slot behind the glovebox. If you already have them, just replace with the new ones. You will be surprised how dirty they get.
