Just sayin Hi

Post by adinafloyd »

Hey yall, I am a new Baja owner, so new I have not even picked it up yet. I fly out to PA to drive it home nest week. I only found one for sale here in louisiana and it didnt look like it had been cared for to well. I had to send half the payment to the carlot in PA to be sure it was still there when I get there. I am sooo excited, I have wanted one for so long. I have already ordered a double din stereo with everything (GPS, backup camera, bluetooth, ya know..everything). I have also ordered a passive keyless entry system with remote start (gonna be a pain in the butt to install :?) Im open to any and all tips about installation. Anyway, I am a born and raised louisiana girl, I have never been in the snow :( , I love my animals..my two parrots run my world and I have no kids (unless ya count the hubby). In my downtime I am in flight school, 8 hrs to go before I get my private rating for helicopters.....Yay me!! Anyway, I hope to learn alot about my Baja on this forum. Oh my Baja is a 2006 Turbo. I have a couple of pics, it is still on the carlot till next week. Wanna know anything else..just ask.

I have an 04 outback now, that was my first subaru, Im hooked on em now. Im looking for any help I can get with wiring on the remote start and passive entry system. Im pretty good with stereos so that shouldn't be too difficult for me.....well maybe a lil headscratchin but that PKE with remote start system looks a wee bit more technical [smilie=boggl3y3dummy-ani.gif], lotta wires on that one.

PS- Im sure i will be totally diggin it! :D

Can't say anything about the remote start, but the stereo is pretty straight forward...the dash basically snaps together. This should help: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1077&hilit=dash+light

When you pull your head unit out you can put your GPS antenna on top of your ac duct work just beneath your actual dash...That is where mine is and it works without a problem and it's completely out of sight..
