odometer, trip and clock

I have had my Baja for only a couple weeks, and really enjoy it. Maybe I never noticed or payed much attention, but my odometer, trip and clock stay on after I turn the car off. Is it supposed too?

yes those are supposed to stay on as well as the fuel level gauge on the dash
