ARE cap

Sold. I picked it up this afternoon. I was amazed that it was only an hour from my house AND the right color. I was a little on the fence when I inspected at their shop, but couldn't pass it up. I'm glad I didn't. It cleaned up really well and looks great. We installed it at their shop before I drove it home. I didn't bring a 2x4 with me to get a tight fit, but they had a small grinder and we just opened up the holes a bit. ARE did a really nice job with the cap. It's very well built. Now to wire in the brakelight...

Thanks a lot for the heads up, I had priced a new one out 2-3 months ago and the local ARE shop said they could do it for $3500! I had pretty much written a cap off until this post...

The guy at the shop said he had a call from someone in Oregon (snorkeled?) the past week asking about shipping it. Sorry to whoever that was!
