Tailgate Extender

Got rear-ended a week ago, got the bumber replaced, repaired the right rear fender and tailgate - now the tailgate extender won't fit (not even close). Does anyone have dimensions of what the distance is between the pivots for the tailgate extension? Photos would be appreciated of a properly fitting tailgate extension for an 05 or 06, or if anyone has a link to the factory specs for the tailgate.

Don't have time to take pics right now but looking at the tailgate with it up, it is exactly 4ft wide. The tailgate extender brackets mounted on the inside of the bed are 45" apart.
