We just bought a 05 Turbo Automatic Limited. It did not have the Bed extender or cover with it. We would like to get a bed extender right away. Is there different makes or brands and models of these? Is there one that is better than the others?
Thanks Much

Welcome to the board. As far as I know, factory original is the only way to go. Be patient and check the inter-web often for used goods. They do show up so, be patient. Please add your location to your profile so that people may assist you in finding local parts and accessories since it is a long way from Washington to Florida.

This bed extender is not for a Baja but I would like to have this style extender. . . If anyone can find one that looks like this one and fits to a Subaru Baja I would love the info. Still researching parts

You could always go the route of building one yourself. I think I might go ahead and do that. We'll see, tho...

Re: Best bed extender??
I would imagine that if you can't weld and make yourself an extender, you are at the mercy of Subaru OEM extenders. A search of "Subaru Baja bed extender" brings up a lot of OEM around 200 bucks. Outside that, creativity rules as companies didn't spend a lot of resources on our limited run vehicles.

About the only other thing I could do is drive to some dealerships and try out there extenders and see if they fit or not. . . I dont have the tools to make one
