2006 Piston Slap

For the past 3 years my 2006 sport has had increasing piston slap. With the 5 year warranty coming to an end in November, the Dealer and myself have been waiting until we get nearer that date before dropping in a rebuilt short block. The Dealer confirmed that I will be getting a Subaru built short block install sometime in October. So I'm excited to see if there will be any change in power and performance.

BTW - I recently installed a double din Pioneer BT3200 head unit attached to the stock premium sound system and it sounds and looks great!

The short block was installed this week and although performance is pretty much the same, the engine itself is quiet...I almost forgot what it was like to drive a car that doesn't go tap tap tap.
