I am looking at buying a baja turbo 5speed. I was looking at a forester but would rather have the bed. The forester seems like its a pretty strait forward swap to an STI turbo. I know a few people have done it on the baja's but it doesn't seem nearly as many as the foresters. So far I think I will have to go with a Utec for engine tuning, vf39 turbo, STI intercooler, and for the most part it seems like a lot of the normal bolt ons will still work with the baja. I am shooting for a little over 320 wheel torque. and eventually enough power to hit low 13's in the 1/4 mile. Any thing I should be aware of? Any advice?
ohh and why are these things so damn heavy? They dont seem that much bigger than a forester and out weigh them by 400lbs-ish

Re: baja turbo swap
Im not sure how the forester compares to the outback, but the Baja is 6" longer overall than the outback. Plus there may be some additional support structure there. Just some thoughts. They are some heavy beasts though!
