I'm just now finishing up doing some good mods to my 2005 subaru baja. I just got it new, but it would be a sin to leave it stock. I got a 300 watt black and decker power inverter and I'm mounting it under the rear console with the "home style outlets" sticking out on the front of the rear console . I also got some simple LED lights for the foot wells. both of these mods are turned on and off by custom mounted switches in the empty plate under the radio. everything looks amazingly stock. I'll update on whether it works well or not. Preliminary tests are hopeful.
well i just figured out which wire powers the stock door clearance lights, and tapped off of that. i only have 2 LED's per side. That pics had a longer exposure, so the color isnt truley that intense, but it definatly looks great. Ive done quite a few things with LED's in my car, check out some of my other threads. . how many leds did that take? and how is the door wiring done? I'll post pics of mine soon.
