Differences between '03 and '05?

Post by tx-x »

Hello, newbie here. I'm thinking of purchasing a used Baja, and have been looking around on the internet. Strangely, there is a lot of '03 and '05s for sale, and I was wondering 1. Why these particular years? and 2. Were there any differences between the years?
Thanks for any imput you can give.

Off the top of my head ... (which means you might want to verify yourself)

'03s are lower then the rest of the years (1" ??)
'05s have rear power jack as standard equip

I'm sure there is a lot more...

That's wierd; this is a duplicate post. Thanks for the reply, Jaxed. Good to know about the rear power port.

Some other things, off the top of my head, all pretty minor:

'05 has that somewhat useless net pocket between the rear seat backs

'05 is pre-wired for sport lights and thus has a smaller open storage area.
