strange noise ?

Baja Bob, you figure it out yet! I think I know what it is. I had my Baja do the same thing and you wont believe me when I tell you but I did post a thread on it. Look at "differential". I played with my differential after the axles were replaced and it is a less expensive repair than you think however, the replacement bearing I'm speaking of is not the correct size because the axle has been replaced for a thicker one hence the fact the dealer/shops only replace the transmissions. I eventually put it back together with the recommended bearing, it has some slop in it, but I told myself next spring I will find or have a correct size bearing made for it. Tranny fluid was too expensive to drain it again. It runs fine but I'm not completely satisfied yet. I did the front bearings yesterday after 115,000 miles. Let me know...
