Motorcycle rack???

Post by Danfzzl »

Hey guys I've seen one guy on here who fit his dual spot motorcycle in the back of his Baja corner to corner. I'm looking to fit up to two sport bikes in the back so obviously i cant do that. i took some measurements and i need my bed to me at least a foot longer. so my first thought was to put some motorcycle rails in the bed and they would stick out past the tail gate so i can load and unload them quick and easy. i was wondering if anybody knows of an existing rail system like this that i can modify or do i need to fabricate something like this? thanks guys.

I still have these in my garage if you interested: http://scoobytruck.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=778 Wife has been bugging me to get rid of them.

My father and I built these so I didn't need a trailer while in college. With this, you can get two motorcycles or a quad in the Baja... AND nothing sticking out past the tailgate. Center of gravity is just in front of the rear axle given the location of the engine. Its definitely a two person job to load the bikes, but the person is there to catch and balance once the front falls into the tire bucket I built on time. Everything mounts to existing hardware and bolt holes.

I have upgraded to a '07 WRX with a trailer hitch. Rocket during the week, and a rocket pulling dirt bikes on the weekend.
