new got a few questions

Hey guys whats going on im new to this site and my baja and i love them both already. got a question or 2. What exhaust system would fit on this thing. its a 06 turbo. would any system from the wrx fit?? i cant find any parts for it but there are a ton of things for the wrx. and what would you guys do to make it a little faster on a budget?? besides intake and exhaust, maybe swap turbo from a stock sti?? i know my way around cars just not this one. any info would be awesome thanks

Welcome to the forums.

For the exhaust, the WRX/Sti up pipes fit. I would recommend replacing it with a cat less up pipe. (the stock pipe is catted and the cat has been known to fail and take out the turbo)

People have fitted WRX down pipes onto the Baja. The complete exhaust is different though, so you can't just use a WRX exhaust.

The Legacy exhaust won't help you because there wasn't a turbo version of it.

Random Tech makes an exhaust for the Baja's. It's pricey, but it fits well. It is available through Xcceleration as well.

You will HAVE to have the car tuned after altering the exhaust with anything other than a "cat back" system.

ok cool thanks for the info. i think ill go with a cat back system to star t then maybe do the headder and up pipe with the tune later on.
