Hi, all:
Just noticed something odd today when turning off the Baja. The ignition switch was warm to the touch and so was the key, bordering on hot but not unbearable.
Since the key is insulated, I only noticed it because I grabbed the metal shaft to keep from dropping them.
Any thoughts? It was hot as hell here today (105) but I don't think that has any impact on the ignition switch really...
Seems odd.

Re: Hot key
HMMM...never really thought to check that, but when I drive home tonight ( since I didn't hop on the motorcycle this morning), I'll try and remember to feel the blade of the key after pulling out of the ignition after my 35-45 min ride home( depending on traffic)....I'll let ya know what I feel!
