LeBra
I've noticed I have some small chips along the front of my hood and want to prevent anymore from occuring and have been thinking about getting a car bra for the Baja. The least expensive ones are from LeBra, anyone have any experience with these people?
Re: LeBra
I've used LeBra in the past... with any bra you run the risk of damaging the paint anyway. If something gets between the bra and the car, or if the bra becomes lose, it will rub the paint and cause marks. Also, the paint may fade on your car, but not under the bra... so it will be noticable when you take it off.Sabber wrote:I've noticed I have some small chips along the front of my hood and want to prevent anymore from occuring and have been thinking about getting a car bra for the Baja. Re: LeBra
I heard about the same thing when I was thinking about getting one. I wanted to protect my paint from rock chips as well but then heard about the problem with protectors damaging the paint as well.
Sooooooo, I decided not to get one. ![beadygrinner [smilie=beadygrinner.gif]](./images/smilies/beadygrinner.gif)

Re: LeBra
if youre real serious about protecting your paint, look into the clear vinyl type of deals, like Rockblocker. its like a thin film that you cant see on the front of the car. i googled vinyl paint protection and Invisible Mask!! looks like an idea. My wifes 08 Ford Escape came with small pieces of clear vinyl on certain areas of the car to help from rocks being shot off the front tires.
