Will the cobb access port tuner for a forester xt work with my '05 baja and is it a good product for tuning? I found this in some other forums and it says that the baja and forester xt have the same engine is that correct also? http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=99442

Yes the 04/ 05 Forester xt and the turbo Baja's use the same engine. I don't think that the Accessport is compatible though. Best bet is to contact Cobb. I don't recall them having an Accessport for the Baja.
On the other hand, put the money into a good "open source" tune.

NOPE. I spent days on the phone back and forth with COBB. The best I ever got was they'd sell me an AP with the base Forester maps. If it didn't work they'd take it back with a 10% restocking fee. No promises that my engine or ECU would survive. Germaine Riddick @ TurboXS in Md. worked wonders with my Baja.

What a great deal they offered you! We may blow up your engine and only charge you 10% for doing it!Subiesleeper68 wrote:NOPE. I spent days on the phone back and forth with COBB. Matt at 555 motorsports did both my tune and my sons WRX. He does great work. He's in both Spokane WA and the suburbs of Chicago. He also does internet tunes.
