Is right turn on red illegal in Oregon? It is legal in many areas as long as you first come to a complete stop and yield to oncoming traffic.
I see no sign that prohibits it. Check your local laws and appeal.

lol Thats the problem. . . I didn't stop
Thought I could make it before it changed. But I missed it by .40 less than half a second . . . o well, its a learning lesson.

Okay, I had to admit that that's pretty funny. I'm amazed that those pictures are so clear.

That's kinda amusing (sorry about your luck).
It's odd what the speed reading says. It can't possibly be right. The first of the 2 with your speed says 19, but your brakes are clearly on (and isn't that kinda quick to make the turn?). The second also says 19, but you're going more across the camera's line of sight than with it. So, in order for it to measure your speed as 19 in that one, you'd have had to have accelerated such that the component of your speed in the vector directly away from the camera is still 19 mph. Even if you were at only a 45-degree angle at that point (looks more like 75 or so to me?), that means that in the 2nd photo you'd have to have been going 38 mph for a device at or below the camera point to stlil register 19. Very interesting...

Well the irony is that most stop light traffic cameras give tickets to drivers who do a rolling stop or like you just miss judge the light by a fraction of a second.
They know you and the others do not not pose a traffic threat but in most cities it more about how much money these cameras generate not safety that is why they are still there.
Yes here you must stop before turning but I have had a number of friends hit it as it flicked yellow/red on them and got hit with an expensive ticket

Not ment to hijack this thread but who makes your bumper guard?
Or is it one that replaces the front bumper cover?
I am looking for one to hold more lights and protect the front when driving at night up on my buddies ranch.
