Trailer Lights
I have a 06 baja and want to hook up lights for a trailer. I have found a plug in under the vehicle to plug in a converter. Every place I have checked has told me they do not make a converter to plug into it. They have said it has to be hard wired. Is this possible seeing the vehicle does have a place to plug in the converter? I have heard the same thing from the dealer.
Re: Trailer Lights
Nah, that's BS the dealer is handing you. Go to the parts guys and ask. I bought mine there, fits perfect, no problems! Good luck!

Did you ask for one for a baja? I have been told the outback is the same I did find one at a auto. parts store that had one for a outback. Did not check it out yet to see if it would work?
Did you get yours right from parts at a sabrau dealer?
Thanks
Re: Trailer Lights
I just checked with the dealer they can get me the converter that plugs in the car.
Unreal for $101.00 guess it's made of gold. They said they are the only ones that can get it guess they got you right by the you know what .

Re: Trailer Lights
U-Haul now has plug-n-play converter boxes. Less than half the $101 you were quoted. Check them out.
BTW, I saw the boxes in person on the hanger at the U-Haul here, so any employee who stares at you blankly should be by-passed for someone else with a little more knowledge.
