Interesting msg. from a Car Dealership

Post by Emsanon »

I went to get an oil change for my baja and one of the sales guys there said that if I ever think about trading in my baja...don't. HAHAHA! I mean, I thought sales people were supposed to try to get you to trade in your car and buy one of theirs! Actually, this dealership has really great people working there. He let me know that the baja's were discontinued, which I knew, and that they may be worth some money later on so he suggested that I hang onto it. Hmmmm. I don't think I would ever trade it in anyway. I couldn't ask for a better vehicle!

I once got an interesting comment along those lines from a dealer. I showed up at the Nissan dealer one day in my '72 240Z. The salesman was quite interested in the car, and said the dealership owner would probably like to take it for himself if I'd trade. No chance I was going to sell that car then, but later circumstances forced me to sell anyway. Oh, well. It was something that doesn't happen often!

I've also gotten similar remarks. I've not had mine very long (though wanted one for a few years) but I find my 05 turbo more and more amazing everyday.
