Anyone else with sport activity lights?

Just wondering if anyone else finds they chip like crazy? Alot of my black parts are chipping off... they're all spotty!!

Mine look O.K. they have been up there for about a year.What part is chipping,the mounting brackets?

Actually the black paint part where the writing is...on the actual covers.

Yeah my covers have a few places where the paints coming off,but thats from being off the lights and getting skinned up from laying around.My covers stay off 99% of the time i've owned them.I use my lights all the time,day & night.

YES I HAD MINE A WEEK OR SO AND TOOK IT TO THE BEACH WITH THE COVERS ON. IT CHIPPED REALLY BAD. INSTEAD OF TRYING TO TOUCH THEM UP I JUST TOOK THEM OFF AND TOOK PAINT THINNER AND TOOK OFF THE BLACK PAINT INSTEAD OF THE WORD BAJA. IT LOOKS GOOD AND WILL NOT CHIP AGAIN.

Yeah the covers chipped alot so about 2 years ago I just threw out the covers and my lights have been doing just fine. I think it looks better not having the covers on. . . thats just me..
