The fuel pump died and while researching the options for replacement/how-to-do-the-job I ran across a couple of posts/videos of folks who keep a spare pump in their inventory. The ones I found used failed pump assemblies and replaced the pump itself with a new one and stuck it on a shelf or as a part of an onboard repair kit.
I don't need the assembly and if anyone wants it they can have it for the price of boxing & shipping via the carrier of their choice.
On a related note I have a question.
With all the Legacy/Outback/Baja's in oh, let's just say Colorado, why could I not find a pump closer than NY? I'm in San Diego. Could it have been further away?
I had to go aftermarket 'cause Subaru no longer supports OEM replacements. ARGH!
