Test plugs for tuning

Post by KingNothingIII »

Hey all. I need to pull a rom from my ECU using EcuFlash and my OpenPort 2.0 cable from Tactrix. Issue is, EcuFlash cannot communicate with my ECU and I cannot for the life of me find the green test plugs under the dash.

I've read in multiple places saying that they're on the passenger side, and multiple places saying they're on the drivers side. Does anybody know for sure? Better yet, if anybody has a stock rom file from an 04 Turbo 5mt Baja, I've heard I can just plug-and-play an 04 STi ECU and flash the Baja Rom to it after making the necessary changes.

I spent a good couple of hours today laying upside down in both spots looking for these green plugs. The only green plug I found was plugged into a white plug near the clutch. I didn't want to mess with that in case that is actually supposed to be there. Engines I understand, electronics is mostly still magic to me.

Thanks for the information!
