Gas tank not filling properly

Gas tank not filling properly
So this has happened the last 3 times I've filled up, each at different gas stations. It doesn't matter how I hold the nozzle, how far it is in. But I can only fill up for maybe .3 gal and the pump stops, I can hear the gas fill up the neck. Like there is something clogging the filler neck because once the pump clicks off if I pull the lever again it will shoot gas back out at me. And ideas or helpful tips?

I don't mean to be insulting here but are you sure the tank is empty?
Could it be that your fuel gauge is broken and you don't actually need any more?

That was actually my first thought. Maybe I pissed someone off and they stuck something down there, but I don't know. And yes I'm sure it was empty. That's why it took me 30min to put in 7gallons...TastyHuman wrote:Or maybe some kid stuffed his action figure down the pipe...
