Hello all,
Neither the rear blinkers or hazards function.
Bulbs are both brand new, tried the relay under the dash, have tried the switch in the steering column
Front blinkers operate at double speed, and so does the dash light. I would normally take this as a sign the bulbs were burnt, but as i said, theyre both new.
Anyone have an idea im as yet unaware of?

Try checking the hazard switch in the dash, I forgot to plug mine back in and remember the blinkers didn't work or work right.

Also check all of the fuses under the dash, not just the one labeled for the turn signals. If I remember correctly, when my horn fuse blew, the turn signals and hazard lights stopped working properly... Never did look into why that was.
Re: Rear blinkers and hazards?
I have a 2003 Baja. Currently the headlights work, but no tail lights. The Parking lights don't work. The right turn signal works, but when the left turn signal is engaged ALL of the blinkers flash as well as the license plate lights.
I replaced the turn signal multi switch as it felt soft, but that didn't help
Perhaps the "stop and turn module"? (I have read about it but can't find it's location)
Also, there is an old tow package electrical module

Sounds like you have a big job ahead of you. Start by taking the new bulbs out and testing the sockets with a test light
