Just took my baja to check on noise while driving. It comes to tranny making noises need an overhaul.
My question is to repair or buy a remanufactured or used one. If used which tranny is compatible with a stock non turbo 2003.I live in Fla. Any websites etc. Greatly appreciated.

Re: BAJA 2003 MANUAL TRANNY NEED ADVISE
Hi Hermes,
Not sure about repair vs. remanufactured; I guess it depends on what's available in your area. When mine went, my mechanic was able to find a low-mileage used one, and since rebuilding the then-current one would cost a bit more, we just went with the used one.
