struts and springs....part #'s

Post by mowillie »

So if anyone has the part #'s exactly for the springs and struts swap, would you mind posting it?
Maybe post where you got them too.
I have seen a few #'s for struts, some are the same '03-'06. As far a springs, I cant find any #'s
I did call the closest dealership and they want my VIN #
I told them I want the do the swap for the 1" gain. he wouldn't pull it up without VIN.
So now I have to find a Baja '04-'06 and write the VIN down as if it is mine, unless someone here wants to let me borrow theirs!!!

by the way...mine is an '03, going for the swap.
Thanks

Did you get your question answered?
I changed my 2003 Baja suspension to 2005 at my dealership & have all the part numbers used.

I must be the only person wanting to drop my Baja a few inches. I mean, not slam it. I just want it to have the same ride height as a Legacy wagon.

I've been trying to determine why a Baja sits higher than a Legacy. Is it taller springs or a spacer between the strut assembly and body that creates the extra ride height. Since you can get spacers to increase the ride height.

I've been wondering if installing Legacy wagon springs in my '03 would do what I want. But according to this, it's saying Moog K-160246 front springs are the same part number for a Baja and Legacy (2003 anyway).

Springs and struts should do the trick. No spacers from stock. It was taller because its cooler! ..and better offroad, and well, it's a truck.
