Hello Everyone
I have a front control arm bushing that has play in it.
It is the rear one that attaches to the control arm via a stud and nut.
Seems very easy to change, provided the nut and two bolts attaching it to the frame come undone.
I have two questions I hope someone can help me with.
(1) Has anyone replaced these before? Is it as straight-forward as it seems?
(2) The bushing is really expensive (for what it is) being around $125. There are after-market sets (both sides, front & rear bushing) that sell for around $100, but I am leary about the price (too cheap) and that they are not genuine Subaru. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Thanks in advance . . . Brian

Re: Front Control Arm Bushings
I am going to do mines in about a month, once the weather clears, yes it will be difficult changing the lower bushings, you will have to press out the smaller ones and just hammer off the larger ones, however if you decide to use an after market for the trailing bushing(larger of the two) they may be solid and not liquid filled like the factory bushings.

Hello Everyone
Still have not replaced these bushings, but
am going to now.
Anyone have any updates on whether the
cheaper bushings are any good?
Thanks . . . Brian
