Need Baja advice

Post by OutofTime »

I just bought my first Baja the other day and I feel that it deserves some really rugged tires. I pick it up on Tuesday and want to get some new tires put on it as soon as possible. The tires it has on now seem really bald because it couldn't make it through three feet of snow without a push I was a little disappointed about that but I still bought the car anyways I figured it just needs some new tires something rugged and great on ice and snow. The car sat outside under 5 feet of snow for 3 months and when I showed up to view it they had to give it a push and I was like what? But anyways I was looking at some local tire companies and they have some tires but I'm really not sure if they are rugged enough for me. I drive mostly on back roads through ice and snow so I was wondering if I could put something like the Pacemark Snowtrakker RD ST2 ?
And still have it drive nice?
I also am looking for a black brush guard that fits snug I've been searching but not sure what to get. If anyone has any good suggestions please let me know I am really new to all of this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search for Gorilla Off Road for the bars.....They make good stuff and I think they are doing a production run at the moment........For tires you might check out the General Grabbers AT2......I run them in the winter with no problem......We don't get 3 get off snow but they do well in the snow......
