On my way to work today, I some how started over heating and noticed steam coming out of the hood. Pulled over and popped the hood. There was coolant everywhere.
Got the truck towed home and took a look at it no visible rips or holes in the upper or lower radiator hoses. (The engine was cold at this point) and I also didn't see any cracks in the radiator.
Later I plan to top off the coolant and let the car idle and warm up and see if I can pinpoint where the coolant is spraying from.
If it is a Crack in the radiator. Does anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket radiator. Anyone installed a koyo? Any install issues or problems with fitment?

Look for cracks in the plastic directly behind the filler neck. ...... Replaced mine with one from Car Quest about 6 months ago. ..... Good fit, no problems

If you have an auto trans, you need to get a read for an auto.
If you have a manual, you can use a rad for an auto or manual. If the pricing or availability is better for the auto radiator, the only difference is the transmission cooler that you don't need for your manual trans.

Radiator update. Topped off the coolant and immediately noticed a leak between the top plastic part and the aluminum part of the radiator.
I started the baja and tried burping the system by squeezing the top radiator house. This confirmed the leak because every time I squeezed the house, coolant would rush out of the spot I noticed the leak from.

Is there anything "better" than a stock replacement?
I have an 05 turbo. And this summer, while climbing the Grapevine south heading to LA at around 70 mph, exterior temps around 90, I was getting frighteningly close to the redline on temp. Not towing anything, bed empty.
I hope to be able to tow a light tent trailer, and if I'm near overheat on hot summer days unladen, I'd definitely be going over with the extra load.
Something that cools better, and other techniques to get more heat out of the engine bay would be appreciated.
