Tuning!

Post by BBoley24 »

I have seen the threads here and over at nabisco but I still can't get a hardline answer.

I will be adding an catless up pipe, downpipe TBE.

I can pay out the whazoo to get it protuned or do it myself.

Maybe.

No one seems to have an answer short of switching the STI ECU and losing cruise control. (I travel alot)

Has anyone had success doing a self tune?

There are a lot of people who have used RomRaider to do it ourselves. It's not hard, but you have to have some idea of what you are doing. It is definitely the cheapest option.

im not sure where you are located, but i found a guy local to me here in MI to tune my baja for $175

i have no complaints at all. I guess i would suggest asking around on forums or fellow subbie guys from your area. Or if you have a performance parts store near you, ask them.

Well I decided to get the tactrix 2.0. I contacted Clark Turner and the company said they would write me up a map.

My local tuner wants $400. TPG Tuning.
