Get it home and finish pulling stuff off of the front to find a smooth belt around the crank pulley.

Order a kit and start to source some heads, just in case. The kit comes in today. I put everything together still unsure if I bent valves. I turn the engine a few times by hand, compression seems normal and there are no odd sounds. I get in and turn it over, starts right up and purrs like a kitten. YAY I don't have to pull the heads.
Then as I'm cleaning up I crush my phone with the hood
