Clear coat for headlights question

Can anyone tell me what the "clear coat" is that folks talk about applying after they polish out their headlight lenses?? I am going to be doing that soon and am curious what everyone uses to make the polished out lenses last longer and resist oxidization.

Any UV protectant wax.

I use some stuff at work but for the life of me I cant remember who makes it....

Its made by Blue Magic, they make a polish as well... I'm getting about a year out of a restore and I would say I've done about 20 sets or so with the two bottle set
