I'm hoping someone might provide me with or refer me to Mfg. headlight specs for my 2006 Subaru Baja.
I've had a run of bad luck the last couple of months. After 45 years crashless of driving I was in two accidents in 4 mos. Both were unavoidable, someone lost control on icy roads and took out my right front headlight and fender, the second was a suicidal deer that took out the left front headlight and fender. The bump shop and I are at odds of proper headlight adjustments.
When I picked up my vehicle I noticed that my headlights seem to be focused on the ground about 35 feet ahead, instead of down the road. Body shop guy says it's normal and correct. They did not seem to be that way before the crashes. I was going to adjust them myself but I think they screwed up one of the vertical adjusters, maybe that's why they are reluctant to change the settings.
Does anyone have any Subaru specs that might settle this?
Thanks!

Re: Baja Headlight Adjustment specs
Not being able to post the PDF.
I got a PM from the OP, we traded emails and I sent the service manual section about headlights, removal and aiming to him.
I have not heard back as to how that went as he had an appointment with the dealer today (Wednesday).

Re: Baja Headlight Adjustment specs
Thank you for the headlight specs. The body shop was unable to bring them into spec because they had used a damaged part from a junk yard that was never going to be right. The headlight assembly was replaced and adjusted to your shop manual and they are right on.
