1986 Brat for sale Flordia Panhandle $2500obo

Imagehttp://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/top ... ?p=1224091The time has come for me to part with my beloved Brat. Recently I had back surgery and am afraid the trusty reliable Brat will need repairs and I won't be able to do them myself. I have a lot of buyers locally who really want it but I can not bear to see it driving around town. It would be like someone taking my wife out on dates and me having to watch. I have owned it for 6 years now and the only things that have gone bad were the starter and alternator. The plan was to start doing all of the body work soon but just don't think my back can handle it. It is NOT rust free but is defiantly workable. The worst of the rust is under the doors. I guess living near the ocean has not been kind on it. The fenders are starting to show some rust spots where I trimmed them. The wheels rub once in a while and it takes the primer off so I have to spray them every once in a while. The rear seats are still in and the seat belts are fully functional. Reverse in the 5sp has been intermittent lately. I can always get it into reverse but sometimes I have to shift through the gears first. I have put a lot of myself into this vehicle and really hate to see it go but I have too many things going on and just don't have time for it anymore. Here are the upgraded details.

EA22 out of a 95 wagon had around 80,000 before the transplant with .5inch adapter
5speed 4x4 trans out of a 89 wagon. Not dual range but gets the job done. I kept the 4sp dual range just in case
Ozified lift kit + a few extra shims to get the tires to clear the fenders better.
6 lug conversion with brand new wheels and tires.
rear disk brake conversion.
secret audio radio with Ipod and USB hookups. fits under the seat and only the faceplate is in the normal radio spot.
Push bar with lights.
Vintage police spotlight. This thing came out of an old police car. Not 100% but was told it is from the 1940s.

I had two 86 brats at one time and parted one to make the other better. So here is a list of extra parts I have

Hood
6 lug wheels with tires. 10-25% left on tread.
t-top glass
t-top rubber seals
gauge cluster
rear end
4 speed dual range with drive shaft
cv shafts good for core charge
chrome for top of bed
outside plastic door and body trim "I think i have one complete set and a few extra pieces.
various other parts

I would really like to see it go to someone who knows what it takes to keep these classics on the road. Also if you are traveling a long distance and didn't want to drive it back I have a tow dolly I would be willing to sell with it.
For more info PM me questions or request.
Thanks for checking it out.
