AC Compressor Wire broke

howdy,

First time having to actually post on this website. Ive searched up and down for any info on this wire, but i cant seem to find any type of replacement part.

Its the wire that is directly on top of the AC compressor that seems to go behind the pulley on the front. the wire has broken, and seems a little too close to the connection on top to solder a new one on.

Does anyone know of a replacement for this?

If it is too short to repair the only way to fix it is to replace the compressor....I would try and solder it as a new one is about $400...

Thanks for the tip, i called like 3 dealerships, and they all said the same thing. I ended up just soldering it anyway...kind of a ghetto rig job, but i think it will do.

how much BS is that? $400 just because one wire broke?

No problem , hope it works out for you......Make sure you cover your solder joint so there is no chance of anything shorting out....liquid electric tape works great....
