I do not have the space for a Cherry picker or the experience mounting a 5MT to the block to do it myself.
For the Baja? What happened to yours? 5MT is easy on a Subaru.

I evidently need more time to get used to how a 240 thousand mile engine is going to consume oil.

Took a long trip, Nearly 800 miles in two days. This long occurrence of that high of an RPM level caused it to burn off a lot. I lost almost a quart.

I got a little worried and dropped him off for some tests. He's old, But fine now.

This all happened in the last 24 hours.

So for now I'm good. Next spring I may revisit this again.

Ah okay. You had me worried..... Unfortunately these things do consume some oil when they get older. Heck, sometimes when fairly new they will be a quart low for no real reason only to be fine after that. If you are running higher RPM for extended periods they use even more. I am pretty impressed you have as many miles as you do. What oil are you running?

Didn't mean to hi-jack the thread.

Back on topic- Did you re-flash the ECU with the new exhaust on there?

Nope it ran fine straight out of the box, the Car idles at 800rpm as sweet as can be.
Our next project will be either a new BOV or a STI ECU swap but not sure which will happen first. And it probably wont happen till spring now once the rally cross season starts up again. You Michigan guys should come with me one time, Its $60 and such a laugh. not real rough on the cars really, here is our last attempt...this is in South Lyon and the next nearest is Marshall and again at i96 raceway

That does look like a blast. I am hoping it's cold enough this year for ice racing again. Similar to rally x but with more sliding.

I only have a 2.5" exhaust but I am catless and I had to lower the wastegate duty cycles because the ECU was having a hard time. It would start to overboost a bit. But that is with a VF39. If you are still running the TD04 you may not be able to flow enough for it to become a problem except for maybe partial throttle.
