Scangauge accuracy for turbos?

Post by gkirk »

Hello,

Was considering buying a Scangauge e for my 2006 turbo to monitor my MPG but have read on other forums that its accuracy for turbocharged vehicles is compromised due to "such rapid changing values." Wondering if anyone has installed one on their turbo that could give me some input????

Thanks,

Gary

Mine seems too be fairly accurate..It does get off if I'm driving it pretty hard though, but for normal driving around it does fine..

I get in the low 20's in town and high 20's on the highway...I live in the mountains though so that well be different on flat ground.....taking a trip to Ohio next month and I'm curious to see what it does then...
