Hi,
just purchased a 2005 Baja sport last week. So far I'm glad I did. I have a couple questions about things.
1) I have a tapping noise when the engine is cold, much like a lifter. It's gets quieter, down to a clicking, after several minutes of driving but never going away. Is this the "piston slap" I've read about?
2) This is the second Suby I've owned. Both have (had) terrible radio reception. I've bought a new Sony stereo and waiting on a pigtail I ordered, so I don't have to cut the plug on the vehicle side. Is it the radio? Or is it the antenna? My old Loyale had bad reception even after a new stereo was installed.
If it's the antenna, any idea what kind I can get to improve reception? (That will fit where the old antenna is)
Thanks in advance.
