water from windshield streams in driver side window

Post by maczapit »

Any solutions out there for this issue......Would be greatly appreciated....

I smoke in my 2005 Turbo baja......hence I usually have the dr side window down an inch or two..... This is great in fair weather....but when it starts raining...and driving at speed....the water from the windshield (and wipers) comes right in the window....dripping on the window and door lock controls on the dr side door.

I have looked at vent shades....but they would have to attach fairly high up on the body to allow the door with the window all the way up - to close. There is no window frame - so the vent shade has to be attached to the body of the car.....not too keen on that idea.....

Anybody find a remedy for this.....??

Thanks in advance.

I found that if you open the rear window the same amount as the front, or slightly more...the air current doesn't pull the rain in as much. I don't smoke in mine anymore though.
