I have done some research on the site for replacement seats for the Baja. What I would like to do is get a set of heated seats from an 04-05 WRX and put them in. I realize I will have to swap out the seat rails. Now does anyone know if the mounting for the rails will be the same. Also will they fit in the space needed. If found the heated WRX seats more comfortable then the Baja seats. Plus the "BUTT" bolstering was a bit tighter then the Baja's Bolstering. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Replacement Seats
I'm not sure about any of that, but I was thinking about putting seat heater elements into my baja seats. That might be easier, and cheaper, no?
Re: Replacement Seats
if Sti seats fit you shouldn't have a problem with wrx seats.......only issue is height. STI seats are definitely higher than the Baja seats, don't know about wrx seats

Re: Replacement Seats
Another reason I was looking is that my Baja seats are deteriorating. Much like most of those plastic/cloth seats do.

STI seats are higher?? I feel like I am sitting on the floor when I go from my baja to my STI.
Re: Replacement Seats
I had a 2003 WRX drivers seat in my wife's Baja so I could crank the seat up and down. Im 6ft 4, and the wise is 5 ft 3.
It bolted in no problem, it just didn't match too well...
So, I picked up a set of black 2004 WRX front seats. Boy do they sit HIGH! I cannibalized the 02 seat rails so the drivers seat would crank down a little lower than with the 04 rails. Im still working on lowering the pass side, but the wife loves them, and they look much better than the '02's
Any Early model WRX, STI or Forester seats should bolt in. You might look for some heated Forester seats.![666 [smilie=666.gif]](./images/smilies/666.gif)
