I know I have read about some other memebers on this forum, so I am only offering this as an up date to what has happened to my car.
If you check out one of my other threads..."front end clunk" you will read that I just had the viscous coupler replaced within the center differential. Well, before I had it fixed, I would get a shaking in front end when, lets say, braking from 60mph to turning right onto my road. So fast braking would create a shaking, but now that my car has had the center diff. fixed, the shimmy when braking is gone too. Dont know if they are linked, but it seems legit to me. Maybe there was wear play in the diff. and with a new one, its fix.
just a thought.
Front end shimmies when braking hard
