Hey guys
Well I dinged my Baja a bit the other day. Was having a bad day and cut it too close to our mailbox because I had parked in an awkward spot. My driver mirror is busted, but a new one is on the way thanks to ebay. Now my fender had been dented from the mailbox pole and cause the door not to open all the way. I had to pry the fender a bit to give space to the door. Now my plan is to remove the fender and take my rubber mallet to it to straighten it back out. I can see the screws under the hood are there others to remove it. Any other suggestions?

A little more than those top bolts. There are also some hiding behind the door, one at the top is easy to get to, the one on the bottom will probably be easiest with a ratcheting wrench.
Then there is also one tieing the corner in front of the wheel to the bumper, not sure where you live, but that one like to rust pretty easily.
Not sure but maybe also behind the corner light?

Im almost wondering if its even worth it to pull the fender off. Its the furthest side next to the door. Its got a few dents in it now from me trying to get the door open. Might just be easier to grab some bondo or a dent puller?

Jack up that corner, remove the wheel and the plastic fender liner. That may give you access to the area you need to get to.WillGT wrote:Im almost wondering if its even worth it to pull the fender off. Its the furthest side next to the door.
