*Solution* Rear 3rd seat

So I traded out my Baja for a another 03 that is a 5 speed.
This one is unique. The rear seat is the original Baja leather seats, but the previous owner removed the rear center console and installed a center seat with seat belts. I will post pictures tomorrow, but from what I can tell there is a block of wood where the console used to sit and then a cushioned vinyl covered pad attached to that. It looks to be a pretty easy swap. Has anyone else tried or seen this?

I'll be interested to see your solution. This has been a thorn in my wife's side since we got the 'Ru.

but to give you an idea, the rear center console was removed and a padded block was inserted instead
